Commercial Insurance Broker

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join their team! The ideal candidate must have General Insurance Level 2 License and at least 5 years of commercial insurance experience. This position offers competitive commission-based compensation plan!

Location : Prince Rupert, BC / Terrace, BC (On-site)

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to :

• Develop and manage commercial accounts while actively seeking new business
• Generate leads from personal contacts, outbound calls, networking, client referrals, and other sources
• Meet with clients in and out of the office as needed to establish connections
• Utilize negotiating skills to find creative insurance solutions for complex risks.
• Prepare the required paperwork for a portfolio of commercial member requests, such as routine policy updates, additions, deletions, renewals, and cancellations.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of commercial insurance experience
• Level 2 General Insurance License
• CAIB, CIP, or FCIP designation would be preferred
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Team player with strong communication and management skills
