Our client, a Canada-based commercial risk and insurance brokerage, is looking for a dedicated Commercial Account Executive to support its expanding client base. With a strong commitment to a client-first philosophy, they prioritize building long-term relationships and providing customized risk solutions that deliver exceptional service and value. The ideal candidate will utilize their creativity and experience to craft innovative insurance solutions for clients in dynamic commercial sectors.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will primarily focus on generating new business and managing client accounts in various commercial sector.and collaborate with administration, underwriters, management and other advisors in the office.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet new business targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients to understand and address their insurance needs.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or changes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business.
• Collaborate with underwriting and support teams to ensure effective service delivery and risk management.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Level 2 license in Alberta
• You have minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial Lines Broker
• You have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
• Expertise in agriculture or transportation is an asset
• CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset

COMPENSATION

• Base salary depending on relevant experience between $80,000 - $100,000 + new business commission
