This role also requires experience leveraging data visualization applications to create dashboards across data sources to tell a robust digital marketing story, utilizing data visualization software (i.e. Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI) and interpreting that data for clients so they understand its relevance to their goals/initiatives, including potential next steps. All of this will require heavy collaboration with project managers and technical teams.
Managerial skills would include: leadership skills such as inspiring/motivating, providing clear direction, leading by example, and solid decision making - communication skills such as running effective meetings, active listening to concerns/feedback, and delivering constructive feedback - collaboration skills such as fostering trust, recognizing and leveraging strengths, promoting cross-functional teamwork - conflict skills such as internal mediation and finding win-win solutions with clients while being calm and professional - coaching skills such as encouraging self improvement, mentoring and managing trainings, identifying opportunities and aligning skillsets - change management skills such as leading/navigating organizational changes and staying flexible and approachable - program development skills such as the ability to create templates, build repeatable processes, stay up to date on industry changes, and mature/update our approach as needed, and collaborate with technical teams when appropriate - AND operational skills such as project planning, resource allocation, and oversight before work goes to clients for our more junior level resources.
This role will be responsible to develop, train, and maintain a team on a set of standards and processes that you would establish to accomplish the skills and tasks outlined in the previous section. This will involve heavy collaboration with our project/account managers and leadership.
Sales skills: You will also support Verndale’s Marketing Services offerings at a high level. You must be comfortable and capable of executing a variety of web analytics and digital marketing tasks, as well as utilizing a variety of marketing technology tools to support and analyze those efforts, and supporting/guiding those are doing the same in a way that is consistent and efficient. Understanding all of the tasks and work done by the team, as well as managing how its done, should enable you to structure and sell accurately planned work based on thorough gathering of client requirements as part of the initial conversations.
