Collision Center Production Manager

Jones Auto Body - Third is looking for a Production Manager!

This is a full time position Monday - Friday that will require the candidate to oversee the opening and closing of the production area. The purpose of this position is to ensure the smooth operations of the production team while keeping pace with the company's production and sales goals, as well as in-line with insurance companies and customer expectations and KPI's.

This position reports to upper management and is responsible for working independently in overseeing and managing the collision repair process in its entirety. The Production Manager is devoted to ensuring employee safety and satisfaction as well as overall department success and brand loyalty. The Production Manager is focused on upholding and promoting our company core values and, as a team player, strives to develop, implement, and maintain production processes to increase efficiencies within each department.

Job Duties:

• Oversee all aspects of the facilities repair departments, including detail, collision repair, and refinishing departments.
• Oversee operational performance, operational & maintenance costs, the safety of operation, plus compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Direct procurement of all types of company-owned-and-operated automotive equipment, materials, supplies, and parts required to maintain automotive equipment.
• Assign repairs to technicians.
• Oversee repair planning and create supplements on existing repair orders.
• Arrange sublet repairs.
• Oversee hiring, training, supervising, and coaching of department employees.
• Establish, oversee, and promote company and department production goals.
• Continuous improvement.

Successful Candidate Possesses:

• Proficient in estimating software.
• Complete understanding of collision repairs.
• Ability to review and analyze production processes regularly to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
• Possess a strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
• Be a champion for delivering excellent service 100% of the time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, clean environment.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.
