Position: Seasonal Coffee Expert in Training, Seasonal, Full-time only

You'll be joining our core team of elves, so it's important that you're mature, self-motivated, and know how to thrive in a team environment. Our ideal team member is passionate about community and building relationships, loves to have fun while working hard, and is ready to give our customers the BEST HOLIDAY SEASON EVER. The work consists of coffee and retail sales, customer service, inventory management, and support tasks. Customer Service experience is required. This is a full-time, SEASONAL position, 40 hours a week, Monday - Saturday. References are required at the time of application.

Type:

  • Start Date: October 21st, 2024
  • Seasonal contract ending January 15th, Full-time (40 hrs per week)
  • Availability requirements: Full-time Monday - Saturday 8:30am - 7:30pm. Some evenings may be required over November/December.
  • This is a physically demanding job; applicants must have lots of stamina.
  • Part-time applications will NOT be considered.

Number of Positions: 1

Wage: All employees start at a rate of $17 per hour.

Your skills will add value to Cupper's in the following ways:

  • Create positive customer experiences and build relationships to support customer retention.
  • Generate value through product knowledge, and promotion & sale of coffee, tea, and supporting products.
  • Encourage a positive team environment, participate in meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Perform shared team duties (retail and wholesale) including: take and fill orders, process payments, assist with inventory and promotions, maintain store cleanliness to provide a clean and safe store environment.
  • Assist our phone, online, and parking lot customers with prompt, friendly support at all times.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Support business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive Customer Service experience.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule, 40 hours every week, year-round, Saturdays included. Some evenings may be required over November/December.
  • Physical stamina and energy are essential.
  • Education: must have completed High School Diploma.
  • Post Secondary business education or formal Customer Service training is an asset.
