Job description

Role Mission & Summary

The role's mission is to increase awareness and visibility for our brand and products resulting in sales conversions. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for promoting our products through engaging social media campaigns, posts, review platforms and customer interactions. Other tasks will include general marketing duties, sales support and projects as assigned. The candidate is creative, forward-thinking, energetic, outgoing, and passionate about the company values and purpose.

Core Job Responsibilities & Duties

  1. You will possess excellent business-related experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Linkedin, etc.);
  2. You will gain experience representing multiple brands through social media channels;
  3. You will engage people daily/weekly through our social media/email marketing utilizing fresh, innovative content;
  4. You will represent the company through daily responses to online reviews and will use patience and problem-solving skills to effectively address customer concerns;
  5. You will hold knowledge of the company's daily sales plans and conversion rates to help push and reach the company's sales goals;
  6. You will help distribute rack cards, brochures and promotional material through the city as required;
  7. You will contribute to and maintain image and video content library;
  8. You will meet or exceed targets set by supervisors (sales; bookings; engagements; views, etc.);
  9. You will help plan and execute familiarization tours, industry cruises, and work with folks who apply to our Ambassador program;
  10. You will help track and build on our strong SEO results;
  11. You will help maintain our online profiles;
  12. You will help create blog posts and create vlogs.

  3. You have well-developed interpersonal skills and can take on responsibility beyond direct duties;
  4. You have a high-level of motivation, determination, and commitment.

Qualifications

  1. Completion or enrolment in marketing or public relations degree/certification;
  2. Experience managing corporate or organizational social media accounts;
  3. Minimum 3-months experience in a public relations, marketing and/or promotions role;
  4. Outgoing, people focused, customer oriented;
  5. Experience with web design and general understanding of web analytics is an asset.
