A Toronto-based custom millwork and manufacturing firm with over 20 years of industry experience, specializing in a variety of high-end custom millwork, casework, architectural woodwork, surface cladding and themed spaces for restaurants, hotels, casinos, entertainment facilities, condominiums, malls and many other public spaces.

About the Opportunity
This family-owned firm is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their team. The ideal individual will be proficient in V-Carve programming software and possess strong skills within the millwork industry. The role involves translating technical designs into precise CNC machine instructions, ensuring high-quality production of custom woodwork and cabinetry.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and program CNC machine tool paths using V-Carve software and import DXF files for wood machining.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and production teams to ensure accurate execution of millwork designs.
• Set up and adjust CNC machines for cabinetry and custom wood projects, troubleshoot and optimize machine performance, and maintain production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.

About You

• 3-5 years of CNC programming experience in the millwork industry.
• Proficient in V-Carve software for creating tool paths and CNC instructions.
• Ability to import and manipulate DXF files for CNC operations.
• Strong understanding of millwork processes, materials, and machinery.
• Attention to detail and a high standard of craftsmanship.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of additional CNC programming software.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
