The Opportunity

As our CNC Operator, you will report to the Production Supervisor. On a given day, you may:

  • CNC programming and set-up for Milling Machines
  • G-CODE Programming either at the machine or using Master Cam.
  • Be familiar with Haas and Mazak machines
  • Keep programs organized and updated on the server, perform backups of written programs
  • Provide detailed feedback for correction of errors or discrepancies of documentation, BOM, routing, and/or prints.
  • Deliver documentation of machining test processes prior to scheduler upon completion.
  • Manufacture components in accordance with routing, work order, verbal and written instructions, prints, sketches, charts, tables, and other information relative to the work at hand.
  • Operate a variety of machining equipment (lathe, mill, and drill), manual and CNC.
  • Perform required shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions.
  • Use judgment to perform and sequence setups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
  • Use measuring instruments to ensure proper fit of components.
  • Perform self-inspection and testing of parts upon completion of jobs.
  • This position is considered a safety-sensitive position, thus employees may be subjected to randomized drug testing.

Requirements for the role

  • 3 years experience on manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill)
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to work from detailed prints and drawings as well as verbal instruction
  • Ability to use shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions.
  • You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

  • This position is fully onsite.
