CNC MasterCam Programmer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. MasterCam experience of minimal 5 years is a must.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in the use of MasterCam, including solid modelling
• Proficient in programming, set up and use of multi-axis CNC machinery
• Proficient in the creation and maintenance of complex macros
• Work to issued drawing specifications
• Able to recognize, correct or communicate drawing errors
• Evaluates completed programs by running simulations or tests
• Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs
• Maintenance and care of equipment
• Liase with machine manufacturer technicians as required
• Communicate with team members who use programs

Qualifications

• Proficient in written and spoken English
• High school diploma
• Certification from an accredited technical school
• Excellent math, programming, comprehension and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently; self-directed
• Knowledge and understanding of the function and capacity of production equipment
• Knowledge of and experience with electronics and machine tools
• Desire to continually learn new software tools, methodologies and techniques as they emerge
• Team player

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $28.74 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
