The Position
Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor, the Machinist will assist in the development and implementation of machining policies and procedures, liaise directly with other department personnel to ensure project goals are met on budget, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
  2. Operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) mill, lathe, router and 3D printer
  3. Set up and adjust production machinery
  4. Knowledge of Fanuc, Haas, and Siemens controllers
  5. Oral communication, working with others
  6. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  7. Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely
  8. Ensure scheduled milestones are met
  9. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and/or travel as required in varying timelines

What We’re Looking For
  1. Candidate is the owner of a Certificate of Qualification for a General Machinist or has demonstrated equivalent experience in an automation/manufacturing environment
  2. 7+ years of custom machining experience
  3. Experience programming using Mastercam is an asset
  4. Experienced with machining weldments, boring mill experience and EDM experience
