Sheet Metal Machine Operator with Forklift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a full-time CNC Bending Machine Operator for our customer, a producer of Architectural panels. Located in Brampton, the ideal person will have previous machining or CNC punch press experience and experience operating a forklift. This is a great opportunity to gain new skills and growth with an established sheet metal company.

Shift and Wage:

Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm

Shifts available: Monday to Friday

Job Duties:

1. Operate machine to bend metal structural shapes
2. Must be able to read drawings with attention to detail
3. May also require cutting or strip metals according to length and orders using power tools
4. Safely operate Electric counterbalance when required
5. Load and offload sheet raw sheet metal and/or finished goods
6. Assist in other departments as required

Job Requirements:

1. Ability to read blueprints and use calipers
2. Valid Forklift certification
3. Must have minimum 1 year previous experience in a similar type of role
4. Open to learning new CNC machine skills
5. Work independently or as a team
