Location: Mississauga, ON
Salary: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour (To be negotiated) / 44 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Responsibilities
- Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines
- Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products
- Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
- Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
- Replace parts as required
Qualifications
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor
Equipment and machinery experience: Computerized woodworking machine, Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Area of specialization: Wooden fixtures, Cabinets, Kitchen cabinets and vanities
