Mirmil Products is looking for a CNC Coder!

The CNC Coder is accountable for the accurate programming, setup, and operation of the CNC machines to create custom parts.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Read, understand and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications along with material requirements to ensure the correct data programming of the CNC machines.
2. Calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
3. Create CNC programs.
4. Determine the sequence of machine operations, select proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into the desired shapes.
5. Build process sheets for material flow.
6. Review rough sketches in partnership with the engineering team.

Key Competencies/Requirements:

1. 2 years experience as a CNC Programmer.
2. Extreme attention to detail.
3. Proficiency reading and interpreting architectural/engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
4. Aptitude for problem solving.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with, instruct, and inform others.
