CMS Author

At VML, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented CMS Author to edit and manage high-quality content within our Content Management System. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the CMS, ensuring content is published efficiently and effectively. They will have a strong grasp of content strategies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Edit and publish content for the client website and other digital platforms using the CMS.
2. Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align content with business goals and audience needs.
3. Optimize content for SEO and user experience, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and best practices.
4. Conduct research to ensure content accuracy and relevance, incorporating current trends and insights.
5. Monitor content performance and user engagement metrics, using data to inform future content strategies.
6. Update and maintain existing content, ensuring it remains fresh and relevant.
7. Assist in developing content calendars and planning upcoming campaigns.
8. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for new content initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience creating and managing content in a CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
2. Knowledge of HTML is a strong plus.
3. Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
