Dr. Pakhale and the community research center is seeking an experienced clinical research coordinator to assist with the overall operations of the community research office.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:- Monitoring smooth functioning of community (peer) researcher training, recruitment, and implementation of research protocols
- Maintaining documentation on peer research training manuals, terms of agreements, confidentiality agreements with peer researchers, community advisory committee members, and volunteers
- Monitoring and preparing financial budgets for ongoing clinical research projects and grants.
- Participating in evaluation of ongoing clinical research projects
- Participating in writing media reports, online blogs, journal articles along with the research team
- Participating in ethics applications and amendments when required
- Participating in writing applications for funding from different sources along with the research team
- Interacting with local, national, and international collaborators in the development and implementation of newer projects
Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical research environment and a postsecondary degree or diploma
- 2-3+ years’ experience working with marginalized communities, such as people who use drugs, are homeless or insecurely housed
- Experience with health systems and/or health research, including quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonization – Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
- Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable
- Previous mixed-method research experience, with extensive academic and non-academic writing experience
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Mature individual with ability to work independently and within a diverse team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (health, social sciences, or public health)
Compensation Pay Range:
Min: $33.342/hr. – Max: $44.456/hr.
