Reporting to the Regional Manager or designate, the Clinical Nurse Practice Lead enacts quality improvement initiatives and sustainment activities related to designated technological enablers of clinical care throughout Mental Health & Substance use (MHSU) Programs and Services. Leads and promotes the integration of computer and communications technologies and clinical change initiatives that support evidence-based clinical practices and clinical decision-making. Works in collaboration with colleagues, clinical leaders, program managers, physicians and corporate teams to increase the effectiveness, efficiency, accountability and sustainability of assigned clinical initiatives.
Travel may be a requirement of this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of Island Health in accordance with the service assignment and may require the use of a personal vehicle.
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a minimum of five (5) years experience in a range of MHSU health care environments as well as experience using related computer technology, clinical change management, and practice support for teams. Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant.
Valid BC Driver's License.
