About the Role
Bethany is seeking a talented clinical educator to support dementia education at the Bethany Calgary site located at 916 18A Street NW. The position will be located at Bethany Calgary, but may be required to provide support to other sites when required. The position reports to the RAI Program and Education Manager as part of a large clinical education team. The education team and quality consultants work closely together under the leadership of the Director, Quality, Best Practices and Research.
Position Summary:
Your primary responsibility is to provide orientation for new employees and develop and deliver clinical education to Bethany employees in close collaboration with site leaders. You will also work with other Bethany Clinical Educators, policy and program leads across Bethany sites in identifying and prioritizing process improvement opportunities and supporting organizational initiatives, such as research and program development.
What You Will Do:
With a passion for care towards residents, families and team members, the Clinical Educator is accountable for practicing outstanding care and support to residents, resident families, team members and volunteers to the full scope of professional nursing practice, and to ensure that their conduct meets the standards of the profession and of Bethany Care Society to deliver resident-centered care planning, implementation and evaluation.
