Role Description

This is a casual on-site role for an Independent Contractor who is a Clinical Counsellor or Registered Social Worker located in Kelowna, BC. The Counsellor will be responsible for providing one-on-one therapeutic services to clients in a private practice group, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering both short-term and long-term counselling. Day-to-day tasks include case management, one-on-one counselling services for individuals, couples, or family therapy sessions. The role requires adherence to professional and ethical standards while maintaining a client-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in Case Management and Counselling
• Knowledge of Psychology and Mental Health principles
• Skills in Couples Therapy and related therapeutic practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field
• Registered Clinical Social Worker or equivalent professional accreditation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural competency
