Client Success Manager

Rystad Energy is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Calgary-based Sales & Marketing team as a Client Success Manager. The role is one of several that work together as part of an account team to grow our client relationships in the region. Client Success Managers provide a critical service for the company's Sales & Marketing team. You will collaborate with various Account Managers on a portfolio of accounts to ensure each relationship is growing and developing. Tasks will include working directly with users and key stakeholders to imbed existing services, uncover the need for new services, and maintain relationships across the organization. You will often act as first-line support for clients as their trusted partner and will be one half of an account team tasked with growing the company's revenues.

The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, and work flexibly as part of a multi-person team. Experience collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders and customer interaction is critical. Knowledge of the energy industry is highly desired but not required. You will work with some highly demanding clients across the Energy, Financial, Government, and Consulting sectors, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as primary post-sale point of contact to develop strong customer advocates and become a trusted advisor to our clients.
2. Jointly define success criteria with clients by understanding their business challenges in order to best manage product adoption.
3. Create and execute Engagement Plans that set the vision for onboarding, strategic adoption, and retention to align with the business needs and goals of the clients.
4. Monitor client health, adoption metrics, and renewal metrics.
5. Develop an understanding of Rystad Energy products and services to proactively increase clients’ adoption and expansion.
6. Provide new client onboarding, including delivering engaging, customized product demos based on clients’ requirements.
7. Discover opportunities for additional products and services.
8. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to ensure clients’ technical/analytical needs are resolved in a timely manner.
9. Partner with Account Managers to provide insights on client health with a focus on adoption, growth, and retention.
10. Provide client feedback to internal teams, including Product Managers and Client Solutions.
11. Participate in industry and networking events to grow the Rystad Energy brand.
12. Maintain and leverage all client data and interaction records using internal sales tools (eg. CRM system).
13. Contribute to the wider vision and strategy of the Client Success team.

Skills & Attributes for Success

1. Bachelor's degree required.
2. Experience in growing client satisfaction, adoption, and retention is highly desired.
3. Experience working with database products or SaaS is an advantage.
4. Energy and/or Financial background is preferred.
5. Experience in teams with multiple stakeholders.
6. Ability to prioritize and multitask, excellent organizational skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Analytical mindset.
9. Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
