Job description

Minimum Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Tasks

  1. Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  2. Process group arrivals and departures
  3. Take, cancel and change room reservations
  4. Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  5. Provide general information about points of interest in the area
  6. Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  7. Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  8. Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
  9. Follow emergency and safety procedures
  10. Perform clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  11. Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  12. Assist clients/guests with special needs
  13. Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls
