Cleaning Services Provider (Fee-for-Service)

The Cleaning Services Provider will be engaged on a fee-for-service basis, working under agreed-upon terms of reference and confirmed costs for specific cleaning tasks. The role involves regular and as-needed cleaning services for our office spaces and community room, with a focus on maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Services Provider on a fee-for-service basis to ensure our office and community room remain clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform regular cleaning of office spaces, including floors, surfaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and meeting rooms.
2. Ensure the community room is clean and prepared for events and activities, including setting up and sanitizing as needed.
3. Dispose of waste and manage recycling according to organizational and municipal guidelines.
4. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the organization when replenishment is needed.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning products and equipment.
6. Provide special cleaning services as needed, including deep cleaning, carpet cleaning, and window washing.
7. Be available on short notice, when applicable, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate special events or urgent cleaning needs.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in professional cleaning services, preferably in office and community or event spaces.
2. Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and best practices for hygiene and safety.
3. Ability to work independently and ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a pleasant environment.
5. Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed.
6. Proximity to North York or ability to commute regularly to the Jane/Wilson area is essential.

Fee-for-Service Arrangement:

1. This is a contract-based role, with payment provided based on completed work and pre-established rates.
2. An agreed-upon Terms of Reference (TOR) will outline the scope of work, expectations, and costs before initiating any tasks.
3. All work and associated costs must be confirmed and documented prior to commencement.
