We are currently accepting applications for Cleaning and Sanitation Technicians to join our dynamic operations located out of our Tofino Operations.

As a Cleaning and Sanitation Technician, you will have the opportunity to work with a team during the evenings, with start times based on production speeds during the day. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that the plant is properly sanitized and disinfected with various equipment and chemicals, meeting hygiene regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

• You will work independently for a majority of your shift to complete your assigned tasks.
• Using a pressure washer and various equipment to thoroughly clean and sanitize the plant equipment, ensuring that the building and equipment meet hygiene standards and are ready for the next processing day.
• You will be responsible for safely handling, applying, and storing cleaning chemicals required for the job. You will assess your work and that of your team members to ensure that each workstation is cleaned and sanitized thoroughly.

Your Position Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning and sanitation position is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of chemical and sanitizing agents and how to properly use them is considered an asset.
• Candidates must be willing to work evening shifts, with start times dependent on production during the day and may include some weekend work. You should be a team player with great interpersonal skills and work well with others.
• You are dependable, punctual, and have reliable transportation to get to and from work, as employees are responsible for their own transportation.

Your Reward:

• A pay rate of $22.92/hour.
• You could also receive a daily bonus which can exceed an additional $4.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate, depending on production speeds and attendance targets.
• Full-time positions available.
