Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

1. Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in assigned areas.
2. Utilize commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
3. Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring all areas are well-kept and functional.
4. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any issues that arise.
5. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility users promptly and professionally.
6. Manage time efficiently to complete cleaning duties within designated timeframes.
7. Use hand tools and power tools safely for various cleaning and maintenance tasks.
8. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes.

Requirements

1. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
2. Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
3. Ability to manage time effectively while performing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
4. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
5. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
6. Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
