Hillcrest Early Learning Centre

Hillcrest Early Learning Centre is in need of one (1) Part-time end-of-day cleaner.

Cleaners are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the centre rooms at the end of the day to promote infection control and a cleanly environment for the children.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

1. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming at the end of the day,
2. Sanitizing all high-touch surfaces,
3. Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, and sinks,
4. Sanitizing toys,
5. Taking out garbage and recycling,
6. Use of Buckeye EcoLab chemicals and others,
7. Maintaining laundry schedule,
8. Operating equipment and chemical use according to WHIMIS and SDS provided,
9. Following centre Standard Operating Procedures to ensure proper cleaning in accordance with the Infection Control Manual for Childcare Centres,
10. Cleaning kitchen and ensuring all dishes are done for the Cook to operate fully in the morning,
11. Common area tidying,
12. And any other duties as assigned.

Hillcrest Early Learning Centre operates with two regular cleaners and is currently looking to fill the second position.
