Clean Transportation Program Manager
About the Role
Environmental Defence Canada (EDC) is a leading Canadian environmental advocacy organization that works with government, industry and individuals to defend clean water, a safe climate and healthy communities. You will be joining a mission-oriented organization with solution-oriented team members who strive to improve our communities and environment. This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package, 4 weeks vacation, employee and family assistance plan, half-day Fridays between Canada Day and Labour Day and an RRSP matching program. Salary range is $70-$75K depending on experience. This role will be reporting to the Campaigns Director.
Purpose of the Role
Environmental Defence seeks a highly-committed and experienced Program Manager with knowledge of clean transportation, public transportation and zero-emissions vehicle policy. The program manager will be responsible for leading Environmental Defence’s efforts to help grow electric vehicle adoption in Canada and grow the mode share of public and active transportation. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and experience with climate policy and project management. Experience in government relations, policy development and communications would be an asset.
