Your Opportunity

Our Water group is seeking a Civil Engineering Student to join our team in the London, ON office.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting correspondence, and completing progress reports.
  • Assisting technical staff with various project tasks, including researching, compiling, and evaluating project data, preparing reports, and performing calculations for sewer/watermain design projects or for water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Performing simple calculations, computer data entry, along with some exposure to CAD, GIS, and design work.
  • Researching available products and technologies, and contacting vendors for information on available products.
  • Completing other engineering/administrative duties as required.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, policies, and programs is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • In progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in civil, water resources and environmental engineering or related field.
  • Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following: Planning, design, construction of water/wastewater infrastructure, and construction management, Environmental water/wastewater treatment processes, Advanced and emerging technologies.
