Job Description

MacKay Sposito is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team. Project experience in land development and public road design, including grading design, water and sanitary sewer design, road plan and profiles, and storm drainage design is preferred; however, recent college graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to understand and resolve engineering problems and adapt approved engineering methods and standards.
• Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance with legal requirements and safety regulations.
• Meet deadlines, communicate and work closely in a team environment, and execute complex engineering activities reliably.
• Prepare engineering designs and specifications on assigned portions of a project accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ability to build and maintain professional co-worker, client, and community relationships.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor of Science degree with major coursework in civil engineering, public works, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Civil Engineering or related; land development experience is required.
• Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WWHM2012, HydroCAD, etc.
• EIT certification.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.

The wage range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00 per hour depending on placement into a Civil Engineer I - Civil Engineer IV title.

MacKay Sposito pays for expenses associated with licensure as well as annual profit-sharing bonuses.
