CIVIL ENGINEER

MPE, a division of Englobe, is inviting applications for a Civil Engineer to join our Municipal Infrastructure team at our Lethbridge office. Responsibilities:

• Perform general project duties under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Technologist.
• Complete modelling of infrastructure systems including water, wastewater, and stormwater.
• Prepare infrastructure assessments, reports, and cost estimates.
• Develop prioritization, phasing, and capital plans.
• Prepare presentations of report content.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.
• Eligibility for membership in APEGA.
• 0-3 years of municipal civil engineering experience including, but not limited to, the design and assessment of:
• Water Distribution Systems.
• Wastewater Collection Systems.
• Stormwater Management Systems.
• Strong working technical knowledge of and experience in municipal hydraulic modelling and design.
• Familiarity with completing infrastructure master plans, assessments, and studies.
• Hydraulic analysis and modelling utilizing applicable software (SewerGEMS, WaterCAD, PCSWMM, etc.).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with high attention to detail.
