Are you an experienced Civil Engineer seeking a leadership opportunity? McElhanney has a unique opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join our team in Fort St. John, BC. In this role, you will join a young and growing team of engineers in a small-office environment. Not only is this an amazing opportunity for you to step into a key role that will help you take your career to the next level, but you will also work with a team of professionals who are fully capable of supporting you from design to construction.
The successful candidate will be part of our Fort St. John Engineering Branch and is either already based in or willing to relocate to Fort St. John. Fort St. John has a welcoming atmosphere, with a mix of outdoor adventure and community events. Fort St. John is known for its economic stability, and the cost of living is relatively affordable compared to larger cities. With its mix of natural beauty, economic opportunities, and tight-knit community, Fort St. John is an attractive place to call home.
This role is designated as a safety-sensitive position and completion of a pre-employment drug & alcohol and fitness for work testing is required.

The salary range for this position is $92,000 - $137,000 per annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary/wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
