Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil and Structure Engineer (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role, you will oversee and direct the design, development, and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with standards, managing teams, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Performs a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline. The Engineer at this level has experience and an increasing proficiency in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and Company procedures. Typical project assignments are larger in scope, more difficult, and varied than at the Associate Engineer level. Some assignments involve CAE (computer-aided engineering)/CAD (computer-aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.
2. Prepares standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
3. Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
4. Reviews small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses.
5. Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
6. Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
7. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field).
2. Minimum 3+ years of related work experience.
3. In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required (or other related certifications).

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
