We have partnered with our lovely not-for-profit client looking for temporary Childcare Support to help in their childcare facility for a few weeks.

This individual will offer support in the daycare, interacting with and supervising the kids, preparing snacks, helping organize different crafts and activities, as well as ensuring a clean and safe environment for the children and staff members. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in daycare or childcare facilities and must have a patient, understanding, and compassionate nature.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

• Interacting with and supervising children in the daycare facility
• Preparing snacks
• Organizing activities and crafts
• Cleaning and upkeeping the facility
• Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass an RCMP check

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a daycare/childcare facility is considered an asset

Skills:

• Personable and compassionate nature
• Patient and composed personality
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Strong resolution skills

Base Salary: $17+ per hour

• Based on experience

Work Hours:

• Mon – Fri
• 10AM – 6PM

Remote Work:

• This position is not remote and requires on-site presence.

Additional Notes:

• This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
