Child Caregiver/Nanny

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess the ability to provide caregiving support, meal preparation, and educational activities tailored to the needs of each child. This role is essential in fostering a positive atmosphere where children can learn and grow.

Duties

1. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
2. Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
3. Supervise and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home at all times.
4. Provide caregiving support, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
5. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
6. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
7. Educate children through play-based learning, encouraging creativity and exploration.
8. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns.
9. Assist children with personal care tasks as needed, including dressing and hygiene.
10. Support children with disabilities by providing tailored care and educational opportunities.

Requirements

1. Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred.
2. Strong caregiving skills with the ability to nurture and educate young minds.
3. Ability to prepare healthy meals while catering to dietary needs.
4. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
5. A clean background check is required to ensure the safety of all children in care.
6. Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children are essential qualities for this role.
7. Experience or training in working with persons with disabilities is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
