What will you be doing?

As a Cook, you will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children in our care. Responsibilities include:

1. Organizing orders for bulk food weekly and daily shopping as needed.
2. Preparing meals from a set menu with recipes provided weekly.
3. Ensuring safety and sanitization in the kitchen environment as per Public Health requirements.
4. Understanding dietary restrictions in centre for individual children.
5. Washing dishes after meals.
6. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Food Handling Certification
2. Meet province requirement for childcare employment
3. Current Standard First Aid and Infant Child CPR
4. Effective time management skills
5. Experience cooking for large groups would be an asset.
