Job Opportunity: Chief Power Engineer

Agrawest Foods, located in Souris, PE, is looking for a Chief Power Engineer. This position will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the plant's boiler, electrical generator, heating, and air handling systems. Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining required reports and daily logs
2. Performing chemical testing
3. Interacting with contract personnel and companies to ensure repair and maintenance of equipment

The successful candidate must:

• Have a valid Power Engineer Certificate
• Be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and connect situations
• Have mechanical aptitude
• Possess strong computer literacy and communication skills

Agrawest may assist with licensing fees after hire and upon license renewal requirements. The work schedule offers great work-life balance, with the following schedule:

• Work 2 days
• Work 2 nights
• Off the next 4 days
