Chief Power Engineer - 2nd Class or 3rd with experience

Job Opportunity: Chief Power Engineer

Agrawest Foods located in Souris, PE is looking for a Chief Power Engineer. This position will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the plant's boiler, electrical generator, heating and air handling systems, including:

1. Maintaining required reports and daily logs
2. Performing chemical testing
3. Interacting with contract personnel and companies to ensure repair and maintenance of equipment

The successful candidate must have:

1. A valid Power Engineer Certificate
2. The ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and connect situations
3. Mechanical aptitude
4. Strong computer literacy
5. Excellent communication skills

The work schedule offers great work-life balance:

1. Work 2 days
2. Work 2 nights
3. Off the next 4 days
