Chief Power Engineer - 2nd Class

Agrawest Foods located in Souris, PE, is looking for a Chief Power Engineer. This position will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the plant's boiler, electrical generator, heating and air handling systems, including maintaining required reports and daily logs, performing chemical testing, and interacting with contract personnel and companies to ensure repair and maintenance of equipment.

The successful candidate must have:

1. a valid Power Engineer Certificate;
2. the ability to analyze, troubleshoot and connect situations;
3. mechanical aptitude;
4. strong computer literacy;
5. excellent communication skills.

Agrawest may assist with licensing fees after hire and upon license renewal requirements. Work schedule offers great work-life balance, with a schedule of:

• Work 2 days,
• Work 2 nights,
• Off the next 4 days.
