Qualifications

Qualifications:

• First Class Power Engineering designation in BC
• Technical Safety Authority Certification to operate in BC
• National Board Inspector Certification (an asset)

• 5-10 years in managing operations at an electrical power generation plant
• Experience with biomass-fired facilities and industrial-scale equipment (boilers, turbines, generators)
• Strong background in operations & maintenance planning, shutdown coordination, and team leadership
• Experience in cost management, reporting, and business administration

• Strong operational, managerial, and strategic thinking skills
• Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement
• Strong communicator at all levels of the organization and with regulators
• High ethical standards and a focus on relationship-building
