Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

With over 45 years of success, we are expanding our retail footprint to include up to 50 new locations and enhancing our online B2C distribution capabilities to meet growing customer demand. To support this exciting expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team.
Role Overview:
The CFO will be a key leader in guiding AutoShack through its next phase of growth, overseeing all financial aspects of the business. This includes managing corporate finance, budgeting, and mergers and acquisitions while driving strategic initiatives that support both retail expansion and online sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in retail operations, retail expansion, and B2C e-commerce sales, paired with a proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with AutoShack’s ambitious retail expansion and e-commerce growth plans.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to drive profitability and support growth objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and business development opportunities to facilitate expansion.
- Retail and E-Commerce Expansion:
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support the rollout of up to 50 new retail locations.
- Partner with operational teams to optimize retail operations, including site selection, cost analysis, and ROI evaluations.
- Leverage financial expertise to drive growth in online B2C sales channels, enhancing customer experience and profitability.
- Capital Management and Fundraising:
- Manage capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to fund expansion initiatives.
- Lead efforts to secure funding, maintaining strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations, including tax and audit requirements.
- Lead internal and external audits to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Operational Finance and Systems:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial controls.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
- Optimize budgeting processes to align with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and excellence.
- Collaborate with other executive team members to drive overall business performance and support strategic decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO on financial matters.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or CFA designation is required.
Experience:
- 10-15+ years of senior financial leadership experience, with extensive expertise in retail operations, retail expansion, and B2C e-commerce sales.
- Demonstrated success in corporate finance, budgeting, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Proven ability to manage financial strategies that drive retail and online sales growth.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in managing financial operations within a fast-paced, multi-faceted business environment.
