Job description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive responsible for managing the financial actions of a company. This role involves overseeing the finance department, driving the financial strategy, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing the CEO and other senior executives with financial insights necessary to make informed business decisions. The CFO plays a critical role in formulating and implementing financial policies and ensuring the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to align with overall business goals.
  2. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely financial statements, regulatory filings, and tax returns.
  4. Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
  5. Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support business decisions.
  6. Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
  3. Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
