In this demanding management role, you will contribute to strategy development and implementation of Allianz Services in India (revenue: 90 mn€) and be P&L responsible together with the CEO. Your functional management spectrum includes Financial Control & Reporting (including Tax and Treasury), Business Control, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Procurement. You will provide insightful financial analysis and decision-relevant information to support management in driving performance and executing our full potential plan. Additionally, you will continuously improve and enhance existing tools/methodologies, structures, processes, and systems in terms of quality, pace, accuracy, and efficiency, creating the basis for further scaling and integration. You will establish your teams as strong corporate drivers and sparring partners for our business leaders and their finance teams. You will report to the local CEO and also to the Allianz Services Group CFO.
As a well-rounded finance manager with operative experience in all areas of financial management and a personal emphasis in Controlling, FP&A, and Accounting, you possess cross-functional business understanding, a pronounced IT affinity, and a strong focus on organizational development. A mindset that enjoys pace and constantly changing challenges, the relentless pursuit of improvement, and a strong “can-do” mentality is crucial. Attention to detail and a hands-on mentality are essential. Position SummaryKey Responsibilities- Drive financial planning and analysis, pricing, forecasting, and budgeting exercises for the company.
- Oversee all aspects of financial operations including accounting, controlling, reporting, tax planning, and auditing, including monitoring cash flow and working capital.
- Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights on profitability, cost management, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations and standards (local and global), including accounting standards, corporate laws, and tax compliance.
- Ensure proper risk and compliance setup and performance and implementation of its frameworks.
- Guide the Legal team in providing comprehensive legal advice to internal stakeholders, adherence to corporate secretarial compliance, and manage any litigation matters, in addition to regular legal & contracting responsibilities.
- Identify domain and process improvement opportunities and leverage technology-tools to improve process effectiveness and efficiency.
- Nurture and develop a positive team culture with high engagement. Consistently enhance team capabilities & future-readiness through ongoing upskilling initiatives.
Qualifications- Professional degree in Finance and Accounting such as CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- 10+ years’ leadership experience as CFO or in senior Finance roles, ideally in GBS/BPO industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, taxation rules including Transfer Pricing, local statutory requirements, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Knowledge of Financial Services/Insurance domain would be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to work effectively across teams and functions, including senior stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills. Showcases initiative, assertiveness, and decisiveness.
- Ability to inspire, influence, and lead diverse teams while effectively connecting with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of finance systems and processes, and a track record of driving transformation programs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skills- Adapt in change management with the capability to convert required changes into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication skills (proficient in English) for collaborating with the executive teams, board members, and external parties.
