As we embark on our next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team.

Position Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key strategic partner to the CEO and the executive team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. This senior leadership role requires a visionary financial strategist who can drive financial performance, support business expansion, and ensure fiscal responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:

  1. Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives and growth initiatives.
  2. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the Partners and Management Team.
  3. Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
  4. Analyze potential future services, markets, and customer segments.
  5. Advise on consulting/design/planning industry norms and best practices.

Financial Management and Reporting:

  1. Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax planning, cash flow, and treasury management.
  2. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports, adhering to GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  3. Monitor financial performance and develop strategies to optimize profitability and efficiency.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  1. Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, operational, and compliance risks.
  2. Implement robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.

Capital Management:

  1. Manage the company’s capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to support growth initiatives.
  2. Lead fundraising efforts, including relations and negotiations with financial institutions, grant providers, and other financial partners.
  3. Oversee mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and other corporate finance activities.

Operational Efficiency:

  1. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  2. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and support decision-making.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational initiatives and strategic projects.

Leadership and Team Development:

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  2. Help recruit, retain, and develop top talent to support the company’s growth and success.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  2. Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with a proven track record in entrepreneurial or high-growth companies.
  3. Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
  4. Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders.
  6. Experience with fundraising, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance activities.
  7. Proficiency in financial software (Quickbooks) and data analytics tools.
