The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer to lead its national healthcare organization. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in the healthcare sector, capable of navigating the significant disruptors currently facing the industry, including pandemic recovery, financial pressures, and the need for a more equitable and sustainable health system. The role involves providing strategic leadership, advocating for health policy solutions that benefit Canadians, and supporting member organizations in their efforts to meet the healthcare needs of the population. The President and CEO will also be responsible for day-to-day operations, inspiring and engaging staff, and ensuring the organization operates in compliance with relevant laws and policies.

Expert leadership ability, senior executive experience, and advanced strategic planning expertise are essential for this position. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the healthcare sector, be bilingual in English and French (preferred), and possess outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. They must be passionate about strengthening healthcare delivery and research, and be committed to the values of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access. The role requires a leader who can effectively manage the organization within Board-established parameters, provide governance support, and lead the organization in a manner that promotes ethical practices and a culture of respect and integrity.
