Position: Chief Executive Officer

Description:

As the Chief Executive Officer, you are a forward-thinking leader who reports to a community Board of Directors and focuses on the strategic goals of the services the agency provides within the community. This is a highly visible position in the agency and the local community, responsible for maintaining the Community Service Centre at the forefront of innovative program development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Relationship building with community, government, participants, and staff.
2. Management skills in finance, operations, and human relations.
3. Implementation of strategic goals, vision, and mission of the company as established by the Board of Directors.
4. Providing leadership to staff.
5. Ensuring that the client is our first priority and that each employee supports that priority.

Knowledge & Experience Required:

1. Ideally, 3 to 5 years of leadership experience preferably in a not-for-profit organization and with experience in the health/social services/disability sector.
2. An undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Community Development, Social Sciences, or equivalent experience, education, and/or knowledge.
3. Strong experience working with boards of directors.
