Position Summary:
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our Chamber into its next phase of growth and sustainability. As CEO, you will be responsible for executing our strategic priorities, including organizational growth, advocacy, economic development, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Implement and oversee the Chamber’s Strategic Sustainability Plan, ensuring alignment with the Chamber’s pillars of growth, financial stability, advocacy, and member services.
- Lead the development of programs that enhance business and community growth, while promoting local and regional economic development initiatives.
- Maintain and grow the Chamber’s relationships with political representatives, key regional stakeholders, and business leaders to support advocacy efforts and regional workforce development partnerships.
- Operational Management:
- Ensure the day-to-day management and overall business continuity of the Chamber, including the oversight of financial, organizational, and advocacy operations.
- Work closely with the Board of Directors and its committees, providing reports, insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead the execution of key events such as Growing the North, Peace Region Energy Show, Your Region Your Voice, and other networking, learning, and advocacy events.
- Financial Oversight:
- Oversee the Chamber’s financial health, ensuring the creation of sustainable budgets, risk assessments, and revenue generation strategies.
- Manage resources in line with the Chamber’s fiscal policies and business continuity plan.
- Member & Stakeholder Relations:
- Foster a collaborative culture by engaging with current and prospective members, ensuring that membership services are aligned with the Chamber’s values.
- Promote the Chamber’s services, ensuring active member engagement and value creation.
- Advocacy & Economic Development:
- Strengthen the Chamber’s role as a leading advocate for the business community.
- Support the promotion of a local/regional mindset, driving initiatives that enhance economic development in the region.
Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in an executive or senior management role.
- Strong understanding of advocacy, economic development, and community relations.
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and long-term financial planning.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading a small but dynamic team.
- Experience in planning and delivering large-scale events and programs is an asset.

Pay: $92,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
