What You'll Be Doing

The Chief Boiler Engineer plays a key role in keeping things running smoothly at HUMC. This important position is responsible for a variety of functions including:

• Operates and monitors the Hospital’s Power Plant with regard to essential systems which provide Heating, Air Conditioning, and Steam.
• Maintains an efficient environment by measuring Fuel Levels, performing sample analysis and safety testing.
• Uses specialized knowledge to determine preventive maintenance and equipment service needs.
• Maintains log and records as required.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.

Regular Full time day shift: 9a-5:30p

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as industrial boiler operator.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety.

Skills:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to interpret technical data.
• 20/20 correctable vision.
• Ability to operate Hospital Power Plant.

Education:

• High School Graduate. Black or Gold Boiler Operator seal.
