Chemical Process Engineer

Our client located in New Brunswick has an immediate opening for a Chemical Process Engineer.

Salary – $90-110k

Pulp Mill experience is a definite asset.

Must be bilingual in French & English.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
2. Proven track record in a Kraft Mill and/or Pulp industry with 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Exceptional organization and decision-making abilities.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Minitab, data historians, and SAP.
6. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Able to lead change and continuous improvement.
8. Ability to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and manage in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
9. Strong leadership skills.
10. Performance management experience. Experience working in a unionized environment would be considered an asset.
