Position and Responsibilities
As a key member of Cameco’s production team, chemical operators are responsible for the safe operation of the UF6 chemical plant. Working a continental shift, you will monitor areas of the UF6 production process, control process start-up and shut down, troubleshoot process/equipment issues and maintain facility housekeeping standards. You will adjust equipment, valves, pumps and controls to ensure production commitments are achieved safely, efficiently and in compliance with operating procedures.
