Tasks:

  1. Conduct tests and analysis using physical and chemical separation techniques
  2. Conduct tests and analysis using spectroscopy techniques
  3. Maintain laboratory equipment
  4. Operate laboratory apparatus
  5. Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses
  6. Use techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques, and microscopy
  7. Assist in the setup and conduction of chemical experiments
  8. Compile records for analytical studies
  9. Operate experimental chemical or petrochemical pilot plant
