Tasks:
- Conduct tests and analysis using physical and chemical separation techniques
- Conduct tests and analysis using spectroscopy techniques
- Maintain laboratory equipment
- Operate laboratory apparatus
- Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses
- Use techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques, and microscopy
- Assist in the setup and conduction of chemical experiments
- Compile records for analytical studies
- Operate experimental chemical or petrochemical pilot plant
