Location: Niagara Falls, ON L2G 2P4

Workplace Information: On site

Salary: $22.00 hourly / 35 to 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time (Day, Evening, Morning, Night, Overtime, Shift, Weekend)

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Setting: Restaurant

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  2. Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food
  3. Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
  4. Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods
  5. Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  6. Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food

Supervision: 1 to 2 people
