We are currently looking for a Change Management Specialist to join our Change Management team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Manager, Organizational Change Management, you will lead change projects and initiatives to ensure change management best practices are applied that are customized to each project and optimize employee adoption. You will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, technology, and strategic initiatives.
As Change Management Specialist you will:
- Lead change on projects and transformative initiatives that impact employees to increase benefit realization, value creation, and the achievement of results and outcomes.
- Develop, execute and monitor change management strategies and operational plans.
- Develop change management processes, metrics, and dashboards that support adoption of the changes required. Synthesize data and present supporting plans and results at an executive level.
- Develop, execute, and monitor communication plans and training activities.
- Create, execute, analyze, report on change impact assessments and change readiness assessments.
- Manage stakeholder engagement and leadership alignment efforts.
- Develop and facilitate focus groups, change networks, and workshops as appropriate.
- Develop and enable sponsorship coaching plans.
- Identify, validate and manage project stakeholders including mapping and monitoring engagement, identify and anticipate resistance and coordinate stakeholder efforts with other change functions i.e. training and communications to ensure there’s alignment among the broader project team and business.
- Integrate change management activities into a project plan and in collaboration with the Project Manager, oversee and execute those activities.
- Provide on-going communications and status updates on your change management deliverables and offer synthesized analytics through reports and dashboards.
- Develop sustainment plans, as part of the change strategy, and ensure smooth transition to operations for effective and ongoing adoption.
- Develop and deliver training modules specific to change management for NSPI.
- Evaluate, design, and improve processes, tools, templates and more as part of the NSPI Change Management team playbook, standards, and in house suite of tools.
You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
These skills will make you successful:
- The successful candidate will have an undergrad and 2-5 years of related experience in Change Management, HR, Organizational Psychology, Training and Development, Adult Education, Stakeholder Engagement, Communications, Project Management, or Relationship Management.
- Experience with Business Analysis and/or Business Process Design and Modeling.
- Robust experience applying Change Management practices on projects is required; Prosci Change Management certification or other recognized certification (i.e. Kotter, Bridges) is an asset. CCMP certification through ACMP is an asset.
- Confidence and proven experience with Excel and use of metrics is required. Power BI experience is an asset.
- Project experience is required; PMP certification is an asset.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office (Word, Power Point, and Excel) and SharePoint.
- Experience with training design and delivery is required; Certification in Adult Education is an asset.
- Must possess strong presentation and facilitation skills and experience leading group discussions.
- Must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and empathy, with the ability to quickly develop and maintain working relationships and work in a team environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are mandatory. You communicate clearly and possess a natural curiosity to learn more about issues.
- Strong commitment to deliver quality results and have exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills in an environment with multiple competing priorities and ability to be flexible is mandatory.
- You are proactive, resourceful and a quick learner who thrives on fast-paced challenge and change.
